Herbal Teas are Ancient Holistic Remedies

Herbal Teas are ancient holistic remedies utilized by our Egyptian and Greek ancestors. Physicians and metaphysicians of the ancient world were aligned with natural herbal healing as well as spiritual healing.

Plants give the power of healing to those who study them, journey with them and respect them.

In many lands and in many times and places tribal medicine men and women invested time in the forest and fields gathering green medicine and learning from the Diva and Elemental kingdoms. The Diva and Elemental kingdoms are the guardians of plants and minerals according to many spiritual legends.

Today medicinal herbs are the basis of modern medicine, although conventional medicines are often the synthetic adaptations of their natural derivatives.

The word “herb” comes from the Latin for “grass”.

Indigenous peoples utilized the power of the aromas of healing herbs. They rubbed strong smelling herbs on their bodies to repel insects and hide their scent from animals they feared or hunted. Tribal peoples also used herbs for food/meat preservation which later evolved into the common use of herbs for culinary flavor enhancers.

Herbs were also used as adornments with their sweet smelling properties to please mates and lovers. Healing properties of herbs assist the physical and subtle bodies. Drink! Smell! Enjoy!
